Michael Gallup DAL WR
Raiders' Michael Gallup: Lands in Las Vegas
7m agoGallup agreed to terms on a one-year, $3 million contract with the Raiders on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After a six-year stint in Dallas to start his career, Gallup will get a fresh start in Las Vegas. His second year with the Cowboys generated plenty of optimism, as he tallied 1,107 yards receiving to go along with six touchdowns. However, he has failed to replicate those types of numbers since. With Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers locked in as the team's top pass catchers, Gallup will compete with the likes of Tre Tucker and DJ Turner, among others, for the No. 3 pass catching role.

Curtis Samuel BUF WR
Bills' Curtis Samuel: Get competition via draft
25m agoSamuel has a new teammate in the receiving room after the Bills took Keon Coleman out of Florida State with the first pick of the second round Friday.
Samuel, signed as a free agent in March, was never going to be a No. 1 or even a No. 2 in Buffalo, but now we at least know who's been brought in ahead of him on the depth chart. It's a mild surprise the Bills chose only one receiver with their 10 draft picks, so for now the versatile Samuel likely sits No. 3 in the pecking order behind Khalil Shakir and Coleman. That said, this is a perfect offense for Samuel's skill set and he'll be a weapon of some sort once things get going, just not the primary receiving option.

Shane Lemieux NYG OG
Saints' Shane Lemieux: Joining up with Saints
2h agoNew Orleans signed Lemieux on Monday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The Giants opted not to hold on to Lemieux after the termination of his rookie contract, but he's now found another chance with the Saints. He's set to compete for a roster spot among an offensive line that underwhelmed in 2023.
-
Matt Hembrough ARI LS
Matt Hembrough: Done with Cards
2h agoArizona waived Hembrough on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
In a corresponding move, Arizona signed rookie free agent long snapper Joe Shimko. Hembrough will now have to look for his next opportunity with a new team after spending his entire rookie season on the injured reserve list.
-
Griffin Hebert PHI WR
Griffin Hebert: Gets let go
2h agoHebert was waived by the Eagles on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hebert joined Philadelphia's practice squad late last season and turned that into a reserve/future contract with the team in January. However, the Lousiana Product's time with the team will come to an end for now, and he'll have the chance to pursue new opportunities.
-
Kyle Pitts ATL TE
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Has 2025 option exercised
2h agoThe Falcons exercised Pitts' 2025 fifth-year option, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
It's a no-brainer move for the Falcons, even if Pitts, the No. 8 overall pick of the 2021 Draft, is coming off back-to-back disappointing seasons after going over 1,000 yards as a rookie. The hope in Atlanta is that the acquisition of Kirk Cousins coupled with the new coaching staff can help maximize Pitts' abilities. Pitts' figures to be a popular 2024 rebound candidate in both real life and fantasy football.
-
Tim Anderson MIA SS
Marlins' Tim Anderson: Exits early Monday
4m agoAnderson was removed from Monday's game against the Nationals with an apparent left hand injury, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Anderson appeared to suffer the injury while playing the field, though the team has yet to provide an official update on his status. Dane Myers will fill Anderson's spot in the order and man right field, while Vidal Brujan enters the game for Jesus Sanchez and slots in at shortstop.

Ken Waldichuk OAK SP
Athletics' Ken Waldichuk: Tosses live BP
10m agoWaldichuk (elbow) threw 25 pitches against live hitters Monday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Waldichuk continues to advance in his rehab, and he's now scheduled to throw a sim game before potentially being sent out on a rehab assignment, per Gallegos. The southpaw figures to get a day or two off before his scheduled sim game.
-
Paul Sewald ARI RP
Diamondbacks' Paul Sewald: Throwing side session Wednesday
16m agoSewald (oblique) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Sewald's last bullpen session, which was scheduled for Sunday, was put on hold after he experienced soreness following an appearance for Triple-A Reno. However, it's positive news that he's been cleared to toss a side session later in the week. The team will likely determine Sewald's next steps after his upcoming bullpen.
-
Ryne Nelson ARI SP
Diamondbacks' Ryne Nelson: May not need rehab assignment
38m agoDiamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Monday that he expects Nelson (elbow) to be back "soon enough," and that the right-hander may not need a rehab assignment, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.
Nelson threw a five-inning, 70-pitch sim game Monday and did not experience any pain. The 26-year-old landed on the 15-day IL on April 19 due to right elbow contusion, but it appears Nelson has a good chance of returning when he's first eligible for activation May 4.

Kyle Nelson ARI RP
Diamondbacks' Kyle Nelson: Getting additional opinions
1h agoNelson is receiving additional opinions on his injured left shoulder before the Diamondbacks decide the next steps to take, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Nelson landed on the injured list nearly a week ago with what was deemed left shoulder inflammation at the time, but it sounds like he might be dealing with something more serious. More information on his status could be available later this week.
-
Luis Frias ARI RP
Diamondbacks' Luis Frias: Starting throwing program
1h agoFrias (shoulder) will begin a throwing program this week, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Frias has been on the shelf for nearly two weeks with right shoulder inflammation but appears to be progressing. He had been optioned before that was rescinded and he was placed on the injured list, so the righty could be headed to Triple-A Reno rather than the majors once he's healthy.
-
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl NO PF
Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Available for Game 4
25m agoRobinson-Earl (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder, Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans reports.
Robinson-Earl was added to the injury report as a game-time call due to a left ankle sprain, but he'll be available to take the floor if called upon. He hasn't had much of a role so far in this series, logging only five minutes in Game 2.
-
Chris Livingston MIL SF
Bucks' Chris Livingston: Not listed on injury report
1h agoLivingston (illness) isn't listed on the Bucks' injury report ahead of Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers.
Livingston missed Games 3 and 4 due to an illness but is cleared for Game 5. However, the second-round rookie isn't guaranteed playing time and has seen only four minutes in the opening-round series, which all game during a Game 2 blowout loss.
-
Damian Lillard MIL PG
Bucks' Damian Lillard: Listed doubtful for Game 5
1h agoLillard (Achilles) is doubtful for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers.
Lillard aggravated a right Achilles injury during Game 3 and missed Game 4 after being diagnosed with a strained tendon. The Bucks lost both games and now face elimination. Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is also doubtful despite a positive update over the weekend, so Khris Middleton (ankle) and Brook Lopez may have to lead Milwaukee's offense again, while Malik Beasley and Bobby Portis remain in the starting lineup.
-
Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL PF
Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Officially doubtful
1h agoAntetokounmpo (calf) is doubtful for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers.
Antetokounmpo has yet to play this postseason due to a left calf strain he suffered against the Celtics on April 9. Coach Doc Rivers said ahead of Sunday's Game 4 loss that Antetokounmpo was cleared to run with no resistance and continues to do stationary shooting, but it seems the All-Star is still a few hurdles away from game action. Damian Lillard (Achilles) is also doubtful for Tuesday's potential elimination game, so Khris Middleton (ankle) and Brook Lopez may have to lead Milwaukee's offense again.
-
Patrick Beverley MIL PG
Bucks' Patrick Beverley: Dealing with oblique strain
1h agoBeverley is probable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers due to a right oblique strain.
Beverley has scored in double figures only once through the first four matchups of the opening-round series, averaging 7.5 points, 4.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals-plus-blocks in 33.5 minutes per game. The veteran played only 21 minutes during Sunday's Game 4 loss, so he may be limited even if he suits up Tuesday.
-
Khris Middleton MIL SF
Bucks' Khris Middleton: Probable for Game 5
1h agoMiddleton is probable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers due to a right ankle sprain.
Middleton sprained his right ankle in Game 2 but will likely continue to play through the pain. He totaled 67 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists over the last two matchups -- both losses -- and should continue to lead the Bucks' offense in Game 5, as Damian Lillard (Achilles) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) are listed as doubtful for Tuesday.

Darren Raddysh TB D
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Out Monday
1h agoRaddysh (undisclosed) is not in Monday's Game 5 lineup against Florida, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.
Raddysh has now missed two straight games but it's unclear what he's dealing with. The 28-year-old racked up 12 hits while averaging 17:06 of ice time through the first three games this series. Max Crozier is expected to suit up again Monday.
-
Andrei Vasilevskiy TB G
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Tending twine Monday
1h agoVasilevskiy will get the starting nod for Monday's Game 5 road tilt with the Panthers, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.
Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 25 shots in Saturday's Game 4 win to avoid being swept. He's registered an .899 save percentage through four games this series. Dating back to the regular season, he's dropped six of his last eight games while posting an .891 save percentage. Vasilevskiy hasn't won two straight games since March 27 and 30.
-
Sam Poulin PIT LW
Penguins' Samuel Poulin: Inks two-year extension
1h agoPoulin signed a two-year, two-way deal with the Penguins on Monday.
Poulin racked up 16 goals and 31 points in 41 games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season. Over the last two years, he's totaled one assist in six NHL appearances. He'll head into next season's training camp looking to win a bottom-six spot in Pittsburgh.
-
Mitchell Gibson WAS G
Capitals' Mitchell Gibson: Assigned to minors
2h agoGibson was loaned to AHL Hershey on Monday.
Gibson spent most of the 2023-24 regular season with ECHL South Carolina, posting a 22-14-6 record with a 2.56 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 42 appearances. He also went 2-0-0 in two AHL outings, surrendering four goals on 47 shots. Gibson will probably serve as a depth option during Hershey's AHL playoff run.
-
Dylan McIlrath WAS D
Capitals' Dylan McIlrath: Heads back to minors
2h agoMcIlrath was returned to AHL Hershey on Monday.
McIlrath suited up in all four games of Washington's first-round series defeat against the Rangers, posting four blocked shots, seven hits and 10 PIM. He will get to play for the Bears in the AHL playoffs after contributing nine points and 100 PIM in 58 minor-league appearances during the 2023-24 regular season.
-
Lucas Johansen WAS D
Capitals' Lucas Johansen: Back in AHL
2h agoJohansen was assigned to AHL Hershey on Monday.
Johansen will get an opportunity to play for the Bears in the AHL postseason after suiting up in two playoff contests during Washington's first-round exit versus the Rangers. The 26-year-old blueliner had two goals and 12 points in 22 AHL outings during the 2023-24 regular season.
