    Hill spent his sophomore campaign operating as a starting safety for the Bengals, recording 110 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, while also intercepting two passes and deflecting 11 others over 17 contests. Head coach Zac Taylor said Sunday that Hill will "be in the cornerback room" this year, which could mean a position change is in store. The team signed former Raven Geno Stone this offseason and could replace Hill at safety in 2024.

    Steer moved from his usual left field to first base, replacing the injured Christian Encarnacion-Strand (hand). The RBI was just his second in the last 14 games, but Speer continues to the lead the club with 20 through 28 games. The steal was his seventh, nearly half of the 15 he had in 156 games in 2023. Encarnacion-Strand could miss a few more games, and Steer could add to his games played at first. So far, he's made four appearances there.

According to manager David Bell, X-rays showed he did not sustain a fracture; however, the imaging revealed evidence of a previous fracture that may be contributing to his soreness. Spencer Steer filled at first base for Encarnacion-Strand, who could be out a "few days," per Bell.

    Suarez allowed his first earned runs of the season, laboring through 83 pitches prior to being pulled with the lead after finishing four innings. Suarez had been unscored upon in his first two starts spanning 11.1 innings since being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on April 17. Suarez is expected to continue to maintain his spot in the Baltimore rotation with his next start tentatively scheduled to take place next weekend when the Orioles travel to Cincinnati to take on the Reds.
