Chris Hubbard TEN OT
49ers' Chris Hubbard: Lands in San Francisco
41m agoThe 49ers signed Hubbard (biceps) to a one-year, $1.38 million contract Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hubbard fills a need for San Francisco as a depth swing tackle. The veteran's 2023 campaign came to an early end Week 11 due to a biceps injury, from which he's now presumably recovered.

Jase McClellan ATL RB
Falcons' Jase McClellan: Still dealing with foot issue
2h agoCoach Raheem Morris said Tuesday McClellan (foot) will sit out practice due to injury, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Morris said McClellan and Bijan Robinson (ankle), who is also tending to an injury, are both expected to be available for mandatory minicamp, as D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. It appears that the rookie sixth-round pick is still nursing the foot injury that kept him from working out at either the NFL Combine or Alabama's Pro Day, but the Falcons appear to expect him to be ready for practice sooner rather than later. McClellan will need all the reps he can get for any chance of carving out a notable role behind both Robinson and Tyler Allgeier.

Chase Claypool BUF WR
Bills' Chase Claypool: New competition in WR room
2h agoClaypool will have more competition to land a roster spot after the Bills signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a one-year deal Tuesday.
The Bills seem to be taking an approach of signing as many journeymen that have previously shown upside as they can this offseason, with a plan of seeing who can stick to join a room with highly touted rookie Keon Coleman and third-year man Khalil Shakir. For now, it looks like MVS, Claypool, Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins (among others) will duke it out for positioning and even a roster spot after holding a firmer grasp on jobs earlier in their careers.

Bijan Robinson ATL RB
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Tending to ankle injury
2h agoCoach Raheem Morris said Robinson will not participate in Tuesday's OTA practice due to an ankle injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Morris said that Robinson is expected to be on the field for Atlanta's mandatory minicamp, as is rookie Jase McClellan (foot), who is also currently sidelined. The insinuation that Robinson's injury is only a minor issue is a relief, but the situation will still warrant monitoring until such time as the star running back is officially back on the field. Robinson could be primed for a Year 2 breakout with the arrival of Kirk Cousins (Achilles) promising an improved Falcons offense, but for the rest of OTAs, Tyler Allgeier could get a chance to handle the top backfield reps.

Jake Fromm WAS QB
Jake Fromm: Let go by Washington
3h agoThe Commanders released Fromm on Tuesday.
Fromm spent the entire 2023 season on Washington's practice squad, but he'll now need to search for a chance to compete elsewhere. The 2020 fifth-round pick hasn't played snaps on an NFL field since 2021.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling KC WR
Bills' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Gets one-year deal in Buffalo
4h agoThe Bills are slated to sign Valdes-Scantling to a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Valdes-Scantling was released by the Chiefs back in February, and he now lands with another AFC powerhouse. Buffalo's revamped wide receiver corps, which lost Stefon Diggs via trade and Gabe Davis to free agency, could use a deep threat to complement Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel and rookie second-round pick Keon Coleman. Working as the No. 4 man on the depth chart could be an ideal situation for Valdes-Scantling to contribute, though if utilized only as a situation downfield target, he's more likely to slightly raise Josh Allen's ceiling than carry standalone value. Across 16 regular-season games last year, the 29-year-old compiled a career-low 21-315-1 receiving line.

Max Clark DET CF
Tigers' Max Clark: Patience, speed for Flying Tigers
6m agoClark is hitting .250 with a .362 OBP, one home run and eight steals in 28 games for Single-A Lakeland.
Clark's command of the zone has been as advertised (17.7 K%, 15.4 BB%), but unfortunately a power breakout has yet to take place. Given his strong hit tool, 70-grade speed and excellent outfield defense, Clark is a safe bet to get to the majors and play regularly, but he may only be a 10-to-15 homer threat at the highest level.

Paul DeJong CHW SS
White Sox's Paul DeJong: Idle for first game
28m agoDeJong is out of the lineup for the first game of a doubleheader against the Nationals on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old will give way to Braden Shewmake at shortstop. DeJong will likely re-enter the lineup for the nightcap with a southpaw (Mitchell Parker) set to start for the Nationals.
-
Justin Anderson CHW RP
White Sox's Justin Anderson: Serving as 27th man Tuesday
36m agoThe White Sox recalled Anderson from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
Anderson will serve as the 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals. The right-hander has allowed two runs over 2.1 innings across two appearances during his brief time with the White Sox this season. He is likely to be sent back down to Charlotte after Tuesday's festivities.
-
Keibert Ruiz WAS C
Nationals' Keibert Ruiz: Sitting out first game
39m agoRuiz is absent from the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.
Riley Adams will do the catching for Trevor Williams. Ruiz will likely be back in there for the second contest when Mitchell Parker will be on the mound for the Nationals.
-
Jesse Winker WAS LF
Nationals' Jesse Winker: Out for Game 1
40m agoWinker (back) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's Game 1 of a doubleheader against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Winker was removed from Sunday's game with back spasms and wasn't part of the Nationals lineup for Monday's matchup against the ChiSox, which was postponed. While it's possible Winker could return for the nightcap Tuesday, it's more likely that he'll receive the full day off. Nick Senzel will handle DH duties during Game 1.

Adael Amador COL SS
Rockies' Adael Amador: Lengthy power outage
1h agoAmador is slashing .138/.312/.149 with zero home runs, 12 steals and more walks (19) than strikeouts (17) in 25 games for Double-A Hartford.
Coming into the year, Amador was seen as one of the best pure hitters in the minors, so it's a bit jarring to see his batting average sitting at .138 through the first five weeks of the season. Perhaps more concerning though, is Amador's complete lack of power, as his .171 BABIP and overly patient approach largely explain his low batting average. Amador's 20.6 percent hard-hit rate and 63.2 percent groundball rate are very troubling marks. He is playing half his games in Hartford, which is essentially a neutral hitting environment, after getting to play half his High-A games at the very hitter-friendly park in Spokane, which helped him slug .514 in 54 High-A games last year.
-
Mike Conley MIN PG
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Late addition to injury report
1h agoConley is questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Nuggets due to right Achilles soreness.
Conley is a late addition to Minnesota's injury report but was active during the morning shootaround, per Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast'. The veteran point guard has averaged 11.9 points, 6.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 31.2 minutes during the postseason, so his potential absence would be a big blow in a critical road matchup. If Conley is downgraded to out, Monte Morris, Jordan McLaughlin and Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be candidates for increased playing time.

Kyrie Irving DAL PG
Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Another dreadful showing
4h agoIrving posted nine points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and nine assists in 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
The Mavericks have welcomed the emergence of P.J. Washington in the series against the Thunder, as Kyrie Irving has struggled badly so far. He's failed to score in double digits in two of four games versus OKC and is shooting a mere 35.7 percent from three-point range. Irving needs to take on a bigger role on offense if the Mavericks want to move to the Western Conference Finals, especially considering how banged up Luka Doncic is.
-
Luka Doncic DAL PG
Mavericks' Luka Doncic: Posts triple-double Monday
4h agoDoncic provided 18 points (6-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two steals over 42 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
On the surface, Doncic's final stat line looks good, as he posted his second triple-double of the postseason and made his presence felt on the defensive end. However, the star guard is battling with several injuries, and he looked a step slow in some sequences and was extremely inefficient with his shot. Doncic is averaging 22.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game in the series against the Thunder, and the decrease in the scoring column is directly tied to the fact he's shooting a mere 39 percent from the floor. He'll aim to bounce back in Game 5 on Wednesday.

PJ Washington DAL PF
Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Keeps scoring run alive
4h agoWashington accumulated 21 points (7-19 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds and one block over 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
The Mavericks failed to protect their home court and had to settle for a tough loss in Game 4, but one of the few positives in Monday's loss was that Washington continues to perform well even when he commands more attention from the opposing defenses. Washington has been Dallas' second-best player in this series, reaching the 20-point mark in three straight appearances and recording two double-doubles. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
-
Chet Holmgren OKC C
Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Nears double-double with four swats
4h agoHolmgren ended Monday's 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 40 minutes.
Holmgren stepped his game up on a night where Jalen Williams struggled with his shot, and the star rookie made his presence felt on both ends of the court, showing efficiency in his touch near the rim and being his usual disruptive self on the defensive end. Holmgren is averaging 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.3 blocks per game in the series against Dallas. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in OKC.
-
Jalen Williams OKC SF
Thunder's Jalen Williams: Struggles from field in Game 4
4h agoWilliams totaled 14 points (5-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals across 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 win over the Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Williams didn't have his best shooting performance, and his numbers regressed a bit compared to what he'd been doing in the previous contests, but his role as the Thunder's second-best offensive weapon is firmly established ahead of Chet Holmgren, which should give him an excellent floor in most DFS slates. Williams is averaging 19.1 points per game in eight playoff contests thus far, but it's worth noting this was his lowest-scoring performance of the postseason.
-
Roope Hintz DAL LW
Stars' Roope Hintz: Undergoing testing
19m agoHintz (upper body) is still being evaluated ahead of Wednesday's Game 5 matchup against Colorado, according to Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News.
Hintz didn't return to Monday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 4 after blocking a shot late in the first period. He has generated two goals, four assists, 13 shots on net and 15 hits in 11 outings this postseason. If Hintz isn't available to play in Game 5, Radek Faksa or Ty Dellandrea could suit up in Wednesday's contest versus Colorado.
-
Phillip Di Giuseppe VAN LW
Canucks' Phil Di Giuseppe: Not playing in Game 4
30m agoDi Giuseppe (personal) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 versus Edmonton, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Di Giuseppe, who will miss his second straight contest, is expected to rejoin the team at Wednesday's practice. He has registered one assist, two shots on goal and 26 hits in eight outings this postseason. Once he is available to return, Di Giuseppe may replace Linus Karlsson or Nils Alman in the lineup.
-
Devon Toews COL D
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Traveling with team
30m agoToews (illness) will make the trip to Dallas ahead of Wednesday's must-win Game 5 versus the Stars, Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
Toews missed Monday's Game 4 due to an illness, but he's reportedly feeling better Tuesday, making it seem likely he'll return for Wednesday's must-win contest. The 30-year-old defender has collected one goal and six points through eight games this postseason.
-
Arturs Silovs VAN G
Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Making seventh straight start
35m agoSilovs will patrol the road crease versus Edmonton in Game 5 on Tuesday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Silovs was excellent in Game 4 on Sunday, turning aside 42 of a whopping 45 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. The Oilers appear set to split stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl between two lines Tuesday, so while Edmonton's first line won't be quite as intimidating, Silovs will presumably face a more balanced attack from the team in Game 5.
-
Adam Henrique EDM C
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Won't play Tuesday
1h agoHenrique (ankle) won't play Tuesday in Game 4 against the Canucks, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
Henrique will miss his second straight contest. He has picked up one goal, one assist, four shots on net and 22 hits in six outings this postseason. The 34-year-old forward had 24 goals and 51 points in 82 appearances between the Oilers and Ducks during the 2023-24 regular season.

Chris Kreider NYR LW
Rangers' Chris Kreider: Minus-3 in loss
2h agoKreider was on the ice for three goals against in Monday's 4-1 loss to Carolina in Game 5.
It was a forgettable night for Kreider as he failed to register a point and went minus-3 in the contest. No other player on New York was on the ice for more than two goals against in Monday's loss. After starting the postseason with points in six of seven games, Kreider has now failed to find the scoresheet in consecutive games. The 33-year-old did have two shots on goal and four hits in 18:51 of ice time. Kreider and the Rangers will have another chance to eliminate the Hurricanes in Game 6 on Thursday.
